Dyslexia is a term for disorders that involve difficulty in learning to read or interpret words, letters, and other symbols, but that do not affect general intelligence.
Up to 15-20% of the population as a whole may have symptoms of dyslexia, including slow or inaccurate reading, weak spelling and poor writing. Not all will qualify for special education services, but many benefit from systematic, explicit instruction in reading, writing and language. Bright Educational Services was first founded in 2020 with a purpose to support students with dyslexia. During that year we discovered families needing support in other areas which we found to be a great fit for. Bright expanded its services by adding subject-matter expert tutoring, test prep, advocate support and much more.
Our mission is to be a shining support for ALL learners.
