I have 15 years of experience in teaching and tutoring students. I have taught 10 years in public education and 5 years in private education both at the elementary level. I also taught a year at the college level. I quickly realized my passion was teaching grade level students. I am excited and looking forward to working with your child this year!
During my college years, I was the lead preschool teacher and coach at Metro Gymnastics in Oklahoma City. Even after I began my professional teaching career at
Charles Haskell Elementary in Edmond in 2000, I continued to coach at Metro totaling 13 years of coaching there. I also
taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades during my 10 years at Charles Haskell.
In 2003, I began tutoring in math and reading for students in 2nd through 5th grades. I began teaching at the University of Central Oklahoma in 2006. I resigned from teaching in public education after we moved to Seminole, Oklahoma in 2010.
In 2015, I had the opportunity to start a private day school in Shawnee, Oklahoma for 2-5-year-old students. I taught the Pre-K and Kindergarten classes during my time there and hired several teachers and assistants to work alongside of me. In 2018, I was appointed the Director of
Under the Son Day School. Throughout this time, I was also able to homeschool my own two children.
In January of this year, we moved to Kellyville for my husband’s job, and I needed to resign from my position at
Under the Son due to the distance between home and work. I am excited to begin a new journey with Pinnacle
this school year and looking forward to the continuation of working with students.
I began my studies at Oklahoma Christian in 1995. I transferred to the University of Central Oklahoma in 1997 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Education in 2000.
In 2003, I went back to UCO and graduated with a master’s degree in Education in 2006 specializing in Early Childhood Education.
I have been blessed with 3 children. My first daughter, Braelynn Marie, passed away in 2012.
My son Braxtyn is 11 years old and in the 5th grade. My daughter Brightyn just turned 7 and is in 1st grade this year. My husband, Justin and I currently live in
Carol Worley received her Bachelor's degree in English from Regent University and a Masters in Education-Reading from Northeastern State University. Her experience includes 2 years as an online Language Arts teacher for Cornerstone Christian Schools, Austin, Texas, and currently in her third year as a Reading Specialist at Jenks Northwest Elementary, Jenks, Oklahoma. Prior to receiving her teaching certificate, she worked with kindergarten through second grade students at Jenks East Elementary as a reading instructional assistant for 3 years. In her spare time, she enjoys reading (of course!), watching old black and white movies, and spending time with her husband, Steve.
I have 13 years of experience in teaching and tutoring students. I have taught 10 years in public education and 3 years in private education. I taught kindergarten and first grade for 10 years. I took the role as a reading specialist for 1 year and have worked as a special education teacher for the last 2 years. I have a passion for giving the students that little extra support of what they need to help them realize they can be successful. I am excited and looking forward to working with your child!
I began my education journey at the University of Toledo in 2003.
In 2007 I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
In 2015 I graduated with a master’s degree in Reading Curriculum and Instruction.
In 2007 I assisted Pre-K-3rd grade students with reading and Math difficulties.
In 2008 I taught K-1st there for 3 years.
In 2011, I began teaching at Dove School of Discovery in Tulsa. There I taught K-1st and tutored those in need after school. While there I developed my passion for working with students in need. I led the reading remediation team for 2 years, working as the reading specialist for 1 year. While there I also obtained my certification to teach special education.
In 2019, I had the opportunity to start working for Coweta Public Schools in the Jr. High building as a 7 & 8th grade special education teacher. I am currently the lead special education teacher in the building.
I am excited to continue pouring into that passion as a begin a new journey with Pinnacle
I have been blessed with 3 children.
My son David is 12 and in the 7th grade, my son Isaac is 11 years old and in the 5th grade. My daughter McKenzie is 5 and is in Pre-school this year. My husband, Roger and I currently live in Porter, Oklahoma
Kayla is our Office Manager. She manages our budgeting, data entry and daily office needs.
Cassie is our Assistant Manager. She assists with many of our IT needs.
